Effective July 1, 2026, Grange Insurance Association will rebrand as Granwest Insurance
Effective July 1, 2026, Grange Insurance Association will officially rebrand as Granwest Insurance, marking an important milestone in our company’s continued evolution. We’re adopting the Granwest name from our existing subsidiary, Granwest Property & Casualty, whose policies already reflect this brand and will remain unchanged, to create a unified, forward-looking identity.
This rebrand honors more than 130 years of service while helping eliminate confusion with an unaffiliated Ohio-based insurer and better reflect our company’s agricultural heritage and regional strength. “Granwest” thoughtfully combines “Gran,” derived from the Latin grānum meaning seed, symbolizing our farming roots, with “West,” representing the communities we proudly serve.
While our company’s name and logo will be updated, our colors and recognizable “G” will remain to ensure continuity.
Most importantly, what matters most isn’t changing. Clients can expect the same policies, coverage, billing, and service, along with the same trusted independent agents and dedicated team they rely on every day. This rebrand reflects a renewed vision, but our commitment to our customers remains just as strong.
Granwest Insurance is proud to carry our legacy forward and looks ahead to serving our communities with the same reliability and care for generations to come.

FAQ
Do I need to take any action?
No action is required. The transition will be seamless. You’ll simply begin to see our new name and branding on both physical materials and digital platforms.
Will my policy number, coverage, or premium change?
No. The name change does not affect your policy in any other way. All policies remain fully valid and in force. If you’re a current Grange Insurance Association policyholder, you’ll receive a Change of Name Endorsement that formally documents the transition, but your coverage remains unchanged.
Will my agent stay the same?
Yes. Your trusted independent agent remains your primary contact.
Will billing remittance or EFT descriptors change?
The remittance name is shown on billing and EFT statements and is specific to the writing company – Granwest Insurance Company or Granwest Property & Casualty. The remit-to address remains the same.
Will the company’s contact information change?
Our phone number and mailing address will remain the same. The website and company email addresses will update to reflect our new name (granwest.com/@granwest.com), but the old addresses will continue to redirect to the updated domain for the foreseeable future.
Do I need to update my billing payment information?
No action is required. Automatic payments will continue without interruption. If paying by check, your billing statement will reflect the company name.
Will I need to create a new online account to continue accessing my policy information and billing?
In March, we launched our new self-service portal, Grange Gateway, and retired My.Grange.com. This change requires a one-time setup of a new online account. If you’ve already completed it, no further action is needed. If not, you can register through the portal anytime. If you have questions or need assistance, give us a call!
Why are you changing your name?
To better reflect our heritage and future vision, and to eliminate confusion with another company named Grange Insurance.
