What's Covered?
Every HomePak Plus policy provides the following standard coverages and benefits:
- Full replacement cost coverage on your home, outbuildings and most personal property
- Personal property insured for up to 75% of what your home is insured for
- Extra replacement cost protection of at least 25% over your dwelling policy limits for your home to help cover cost overruns
- Loss of use coverage in case your home become uninhabitable due to a covered peril
- 50% of the cost of lock replacement or repair if your keys are lost or stolen, up to $500
- Water back up or sump overflow protection
- Up to $500 for refrigerated property coverage
- Liability protection for you and your family should you become responsible for bodily injury or property damage to another
- Guest medical coverage if a guest is injured on your property
- Limited liability coverage for certain watercraft
- Limited liability coverage for use of recreational vehicles such as ATV’s, snowmobiles etc. while on your premises
- Legal defense for covered liability claims against you
- Our superior claims service
Every HomePak Premier policy contains all of the above PLUS:
- Additional perils coverage for your personal property
- Up to an additional 25% in extended replacement cost coverage for your home (50% total) which also may include your outbuildings and personal property
- Reasonable costs for lock replacement or repair with no deductible
- An additional $250 of refrigerated property coverage ($750 total)
- Increased coverage for personal property that contains restrictions due to their nature, such as money, jewelry, firearms etc.
We offer a large selection of additional options available for your special coverage needs including but not limited to:
- Increases in policy limits for outbuildings, personal property, loss of use and a host of other coverages
- Coverage for qualifying small home businesses
- Liability coverage for recreational vehicles (snowmobiles, golf carts, watercraft etc.) when used off premises
- Coverage for outbuildings located off premises or rented to others
- Incidental farming operations liability coverage
- Scheduled personal property with no deductible
