Grange Insurance Association is pleased to announce GIA will again fund 25 scholarships for the 2011 - 2012 school year, totaling over $26,500. In addition, GIA has also the honor of awarding the Paul & Ethel Holter Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 funded by a gift in Mrs. Holter's Estate, and the Dee & Ina McKern Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $500 funded by a gift from the McKern family and possibly others for $500 each.
Applicants may apply for a scholarship in either an academic or vocational area of studies. Three of the awards will be for students wishing to pursue vocational studies and 22 will be for academic studies. The top scoring student in each category receives $1,500 and each additional winner receives $1000. Alternates are also named in case a winner is unable to use the award.
